In a Slump
I love that I am painting full-time now. I really do. There isn’t anything I would rather be doing. That said, it just isn’t always easy.
Painting is a very lonely pursuit, and it can be easy to lose sight of where the work is going, or if it’s any good. Sometimes it’s a challenge just to step up to the easel.
But the only choice I have is to persist… Keep going and work until the slump is behind me.
For today I chose an autumn landscape… Just to have some of my favorite colors on the palette. Not finished yet… But close, I think.
