Most of the small paintings that are available to buy on the website and ship by mail come without a frame. This is to simplify shipping and keep costs down. It also allows you to choose your own frame to match your new painting up with your own decor.

A few of the paintings do have frames and are marked as such on the details page. In those cases—unless stated otherwise—the frame is a simple wood frame with a light, natural oil finish, and already wired for hanging (click on the image here for a closer look at a sample frame).

Requesting a Frame

If you would prefer to have your painting framed in this manner, contact me and we can discuss it. Even though the frames are simple, they take time and care to build, so they will add additional cost to your purchase.

Generally, the cost of a simple frame for a 6" x 6" painting will run about $25. The actual cost may vary, depending on the size of the painting.
