What’s That Smell?
Back in the studio today, and onto a new fish painting. This is 6" x 6" panel, painted mostly with the palette knife. It’s is from a photo by Joses Tirtabudi on FreeImages.com.
I really like fish as a subject, but I don’t know if I’ll try anything of actual living fish… You know… like, underwater. I suppose there’s no reason why not, given that I do most of these new paintings from photos. But there just seems to be something unnatural about it. Odd, right?
