Paint, Dry, Repeat…

Painting “Ala Prima” (in one sitting) has it’s joys… but sometimes working into wet paint doesn’t go quite as smoothly as one would like. Particularly on these smaller panels. So sometimes the answer is just to put them aside to dry and then have at them again another day.

Of course, that will take some discipline as well… Given that I seem to enjoy starting paintings a lot more than I do finishing them.

I began these three this week. Let’s see how soon I finish them.
