Bear With Me
OK… My apologies for the bad pun. But I really do need to ask you to bear with me now. I haven’t painted or posted for quite a while—at least a month I think.
Trying to “make it” as an artist has been taking it’s toll on me, so I just had to take a sort of mental health break and turn my attention to other things. Bees, chickens, woodworking… whatever I could do to keep myself busy and distracted.
So… now I’m back in the studio. Determined to keep moving forward and try to make this work. I’m not quite ready to flip burgers or bag groceries, and Wal-Mart won’t be here for at least a year, so my career as a greeter is on hold.
I have about 18 panels sketched and prepared to paint. So hopefully you’ll be hearing more from me in the days and weeks ahead.
